JOEL OSTEEN and JOSEPH SMITH

The late Joseph Smith is the founder, first president, and prophet of the Mormon church. Were he alive today he would be very pleased with Joel Osteen declaring publicly that Mormonism is "Christian".

Like modern-day hyper-Charismatics, Joseph Smith claimed to have "visions" and personal encounters with the "Father" and "Jesus" and an angel named Moroni, all of whom led Smith into incredible hyper-heresy, blasphemy, and the subsequent deception of millions of precious souls for whom the Jesus of the Bible died for.

But if anything appeared to Joseph Smith, it wasn't the Father and Jesus of the Bible, because they would not teach Smith and Mormons that they can become "gods;" that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers; that Jesus was produced through sexual relations between Mary and the "Father;" that Mormons must have Joseph Smith's consent to enter heaven, and that Mormon men and women can become gods and goddesses of their own planets and pro-create for eternity.

Nonetheless, it's obvious that Joel Osteen has fallen for the same deceptive tactics as Joseph Smith--both of whom are prime examples of what happens when people turn their backs on the God of the Bible, and kiss the snake-scaled cheek of the author of doctrines of demons.

If Joseph Smith were alive today, he would be grinning over Joel Osteen's in-your-face deception and sheer stupidity. No doubt that Satan is grinning too. And the Mormon church will reap its earthly benefits from Osteen's statements until, that is, the real Jesus of the Bible returns.

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand." (John 10:28).
