Transported by the Lion of Judah

Sometimes I can hardly believe the advertising for books like this one on ElijahList.  It stated:

This is one of the most amazing AND TRUE stories I've ever read and it's by a person I know well. My wife and I stayed in Anne Elmer and her husband's home in France. When she shared her story, I KNEW it had to be a book. Anne agreed and our readers have spoken by purchasing so many copies of this amazing narrative about what REALLY HAPPENED TO HER as THE LION FLEW HER THROUGHOUT THE EARTH! (ElijahList newsletter, 10/30/14)

This illustrates the lack of integrity on the part of ElijahList in calling this story a “true story”.  Where is the proof, any proof that this actually happened?  This is another instance where ElijahList freely promotes trips to heaven and hell as factual, but now it has stepped up this myth-telling even further with a trip God took a woman on all over the world!  He did not take her on a ship or plane, but teleported her from place to place. As “proof” they cite the following:

You'll remember that Paul, the Apostle was literally "caught up" into a "transported" experience, as was John the Revelator, probably more than once. Often they didn’t know if their experience was "in the body or out of the body" but they knew they were caught up and they were allowed sometimes to tell us some or all of what they saw. Yet other times they were DIS-allowed from sharing the content of their visitation experience. Fortunately for you, the reader, Anne is allowed to speak of her experience through this book. (ElijahList newsletter, 10/30/14)

Sorry to sound cynical, but how convenient that now this “Lion” is allowing Anne to tell of what she saw when Jesus did not allow Paul and John to tell all the details of their important “trips”!  But Anne is allegedly being given the go-ahead to reveal all the facts.  I mean, seriously, you cannot write a book and make big bucks without (1) telling a bunch of fantastical details and (2) trying to come off as holier than thou.  When Benny Hinn went to “heaven”, for instance, on numerous occasions, the Lord did not tell him to keep the things he saw a secret either.

But this brings us to some issues that prove this is not an experience from God.

First of all, the Apostles who were “caught up” were being given messages for the whole Church.  They were not being taken on a joyride nor did they write a book of all the details of their experiences.  John wrote the Revelation after being told what to write AND what not to write.

Revelation 21:5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Revelation 10:4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

So there is a big difference on the issue of writing things down or not writing them down.  When you see someone who says they have been to heaven, etc. writing everything down you should already know they are writing down a false delusion of their own minds, or a demonic vision.  We will get into that in a moment.

Secondly, what is the purpose of all her trips?  I think we only need to cite one instance to know that this trip from not from the Lord.

Jesus, as the Lion of Judah, literally came into Anne's room and offered to take her on MULTIPLE trips throughout the earth... including into a Buddhist temple. The Lion (Jesus) was so intense, it surprised Anne. Growling, the Lion scared off demons and yet insisted to Anne that HE had the RIGHT TO BE HERE in this Buddhist temple because so many Christians had toured this place and prayed that Jesus would reveal Himself to many in this place—even though it was currently dedicated to the huge Buddha in the building! The LION was fierce with PURPOSE because of those prayers! (ElijahList newsletter, 10/30/14)

So then the purpose of this alleged trip was to let Christians who had prayed know that God had a “right” to be in a Buddhist temple?  This trip then has nothing to do with any important unrevealed message to the Church or humanity as it proves nothing.  Since the Holy Spirit is omnipresent, He is already everywhere.  He is not a pantheistic God being part of the essence of the things that He made, but He is present everywhere.  He is separate from the world: Isa. 40:22; Acts 17:24, contrasted with the world: Psa. 102:25-27; 1 John 2:15-17 which He created: Gen. 1:1; Psa. 33:6; 102:25; Isa. 42:5; 44:24; John 1:3; Rom. 11:36; Heb. 1:2; 11:3 and He is omnipresent: Matt. 18:20; 28:20; John 3:13; Eph.1:23; 4:10: Col. 3:11.  So this “lion” stating that he has a “right to be there” in the Buddhist temple is a message that has already been given many times in the Bible and there is therefore no need for further revelation on that point.  Therefore this is not a vision or trip from the Lord.

Thirdly, God is not “fierce” because of the prayers of Christians.  If He is fierce, He is that way because of His character in judgment.  Actually, most Bible verses describing the fierceness of God are describing His anger, wrath and judgment.

Fourthly, we are living at the end of the age of grace where we are allowed to believe in Jesus Christ for salvation because He first came as the Lamb of God.  We are still living in that period of time.  He is not yet here as the Lion of Judah, but when He does come as the Lion He comes in judgment.  Before He comes the Lion of Judah will open the scroll with the seven seals of God’s judgment.

Revelation 5:5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

So the Lion is not physically on earth yet.  If He was He would be raining judgment down on the Antichrist, False Prophet, the devil and his demons, the unbelievers and false brethren who write lying books.

However, there is another “lion” and based on this testimony I believe it is this “lion” that is giving this woman either visions or actually taking her places.

1 Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

The devil is also likened to a lion and he is still roaming the earth, enticing people to sin and deceiving.  Notice that in Anne’s tall tale, the lion that is giving her a “three hour tour” growls at the other demons in the Buddhist temple.  God will not growl at the demons.  He will simply slay them with the Word from His mouth.

Revelation 19:21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Isaiah 11:4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.

But the devil must growl because he knows his time is short.  Can this book be the delusion of her mind?  According to Jeremiah, that is one possibility when it comes to false prophets.

Jeremiah 14:14 Then the Lord said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.

So there are a number of possibilities given by Jeremiah to explain these types of visions.  They are either: false, divinations, idolatries or delusions.  I will also posit one more possibility.  There are many subjective stories that cannot be verified of demons transporting shamans from place to place over long distances.  There is a story of a witch in the Marshall Islands of the Pacific, for instance, who would appear on one island then appear on another without transport.  There are other stories in mythology that may or may not be true.  But I would not put it past the enemy to be able to do this, particularly given the UFO stories of people being “abducted” and taken to various locations, and I believe that UFOs are not extra-terrestrials but rather intra-terrestrials … demons.  We can expect these kinds of lying signs and wonders in our time.  Why are they lying?  Because people like those involved with the ElijahList are often attributing signs and wonders to God when they are clearly not from Him.  The enemy is pulling out all the stops at the end of the age to deceive as many as possible.

Do not be deceived by this book. Read the Bible because that has been proven to be true.  Stop running after signs and wonders and myths.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
