Priest Has Supernatural Power To Convert The Bread And Wine Into ChristIt is by the conversion of the bread and wine into Christs body and blood that Christ BECOMES PRESENT in this sacrament. The Church Fathers strongly affirmed the faith of the Church in the efficacy of the Word of Christ and of the action of the Holy Spirit to bring about this conversion. Thus St. John Chrysostom declares:
Nowhere in the Word of God is this doctrine taught. Men have turned the Lords Supper into a pagan cannibalistic ritual rather than a remembrance of what the Lord has done for man. The Lords Supper is so often defiled by non-believers receiving it, and by saved people receiving it without confessing their sins to the Lord. Transubstantiation is another way to separate the clergy from the laity. The priest must be something special if he can say some magical words and miraculously the Eucharist turns in to Christ. It is designed to deceive men, and to elevate men above others in order that they may usurp their power and authority over other men. All true believers are saints of God, and are of no greater importance than another. God is not a respecter of persons. These priest are just men, as I am.
