From Church To Emerging Church DVD Series by Sandy Simpson The issue of the Emerging Church and it's introduction into many churches and mission organizations has reached a critical point. Many do not undersand what is being leavened into churches by the EC leadership. Many would be shocked to know their belief systems involve Universalism, New Age, defense of postmodernism, Interfaithism, and many other false doctrines. In order to reach out to this generation the EC leadership is proposing a whole new "map" to deal with what they perceive is a lack of understanding on the part of the churches on how to communicate. EC proponants believe the "scripture" for today is evolving and must change in order to reach postmoderns.

Commercialized Apologetics
| by Mike Oppenheimer, 5/28/12
It becomes a concern when one sees Rick Warren host apologetic conferences with those who have different concepts of faith. Saddleback's 2010 Apologetics Weekend conference included: Philip Yancey, Peter Kreeft, and Scot McKnight. McKnight, Kreeft (not to mention Yancey) is what Warren considers apologetics? Yes, they are apologists, but is it for biblical Christianity? What are we to expect from someone (Warren) who believes he is building the kingdom of God on earth (through unity of all faiths) and hosts an "apologetics" conference?

Catholic Mysticism and the Emerging Church | by Richard Bennett, 5/29/12
Mysticism attempts to gain ultimate knowledge of God by a direct experience that bypasses the mind. Catholic mysticism working together with the Emerging Church, needs to be reexamined. Old-time mystics such as Loyola, Teresa of Avila, and John of the Cross need to be examined again along with modern so-called evangelical mystics such as Richard Foster. All of this, and more, is accomplished in this professional presentation along with graphic inserts of persons and events. An analysis is also made of Phyllis Tickle who has surfaced as a formidable leader of this toxic movement. The fall from power of Tony Jones, a former leading light of the movement, is also documented. As we reexamine this topic we notice that show has been viewed more than 13,800 times on You-Tube alone. As you watch and listen to this distinctive DVD, we encourage you to make it known by forwarding its URL to others. YouTube video.
