 Holy Ghost IGNORED!

"Holy Ghost Reborn" is the second film in the "Holy Ghost" series released by Bethel Church in Redding, CA.  Tim Wirth and I reviewed the first "Holy Ghost" film and that review is freely available on YouTube here:
I am sorry to say this but Bethel is clearly a cult of Christianity holding to most of the teachings of the Latter Rain and Word of Faith.  They have demonstrated repeatedly a manipulative atmosphere targeting young people in particular while preaching rank heresy.  This new film is a continuation of those false teachings and practices.  I pray for the young people in that church that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and thus come to know the true Holy Spirit.

You can't be changed from a little devil to a real Christian by simply coming to church. You can't have a conversion by learning things. Your heart is wrong. You are wrong inside. Your heart is "desperately wicked" (Jeremiah 17:9). You cannot change yourself from a goat to a sheep, from a little devil to a real Christian. "With men it is impossible" (Mark 10:27). And with you it is impossible. You need God's grace! You need a miracle of conversion from God. You are almost saved, but entirely lost. Without a miracle from God, you will always be entirely lost - lost in this life and lost forever in the next world.

What I gleaned from the conversation between Eugene Peterson and Bono was that picking Scriptures that we select, and tweaking them with our 'take' on them, and mocking the ones we deem insufficient-may be tied to something as simple as our preferences.

Ten Word of Faith Doctrines Weighed Against Scripture (Booklet)

If you will look back at the various Word of Faith doctrines that have been exposed, you should scripturally discern the real Jesus didn't teach any of these, nor did His apostles. These false faith doctrines are rampant worldwide. If you are involved with believing any of these unscriptural doctrines, you need to repent by renouncing them and exposing them. The leaven of false doctrine (Galatians 5:9) inflates deception which impairs abundant life in Jesus (John 10:10). False teachers and false prophets (Matthew 7:15-23) proclaim doctrines and a gospel not taught by the real Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4, 13-15).
