Recently The New York Times prominently provided an international media platform for an extremely offensive anti-Semitic cartoon. If this wasn't bad enough, the newspaper followed it up with yet another offensive cartoon.[4] These cartoons were strikingly similar to the type of anti-Semitic propaganda used by Hitler in Germany during the 1930s that paved the way to the Holocaust, the extermination of 6,000,000 Jews.

Activate the kids? Bethel Redding leaders continue to present an unbalanced and unhealthy preoccupation with signs and wonders-or, as I have come to call it, a bells-and-whistles theology. It should be no surprise that this is also present in Bethel Redding's children's ministry. It seems as if it is more important to encourage children to seek angelic visitations, visions, and Words of Knowledge than it is to actually determine whether the experience/communication with God is genuine or not. |
| What is Your Authority for Knowing Truth? |

One of the most important decisions anyone makes in this life is choosing which authority to trust for their eternal destiny. We can be wrong about a lot of things in this life and still survive, but if we are wrong about which authority to trust for our life after death, we will pay for that mistake for all eternity. As ambassadors for Christ, we must ask people if they have a reliable source for discerning truth from error. Has that source ever been wrong before? Is it possible for that source to ever mislead or deceive people? Since every religion has an authority, and every person has an opinion, we need to ask people about their source for truth when we share the Gospel. Some will say their authority is a person, a book, a religion, a spirit, or their own understanding. Some will say they rely on their popes, rabbis, religious leaders, religious traditions, human reasoning, church history, church fathers, or Google. Any of these sources might be right some of the time, but there is only one source that is right all the time. Our holy and omniscient God has never been wrong, and He has given us His Word as our only infallible source for truth. Scripture's supreme authority is established by its divine origin. There is no higher authority than our almighty God and creator.

| When men become gods throughout the universe |

Mormonism teaches that God (of this world) was once a man who became a god. (DoC 130:22) Was once born as a baby on another planet (Church News, Sept,19 1936 p.2 J. F. Smith) died and was resurrected (Gospel Principles p.9), progressed to become a God. Brigham Young stated "how many Gods there are, I do not know. But there never was a time when there were no Gods and worlds...(JoD vol.7 p.333) Joseph Smith said we will become gods like all other gods This Mormon god has a father, a grandfather and a great grandfather (Doctrines of Salvation vol.2 p.47) ad infinitum. In the Bible the Lord states: "I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me" (Isaiah 43:10). God in the Bible is presented as from everlasting to everlasting.
