A Short History of Dominionism
by Sandy Simpson

This DVD is a message based on this article.

In order to understand where the modern fusion called "Dominioism" comes from, I want to first give you definitions of Kingdom Now, Dominionism and Reconstructionism.

Dominionism is sparsely defined as follows:

"Dominion Theology (also known as Dominionism) is a group of Christian political ideologies that seek to institute a nation governed by Christians based on their personal understandings of biblical law. Extents of rule and ways of achieving governing authority are varied. For example, Dominion Theology can include theonomy, but does not necessarily involve advocating Mosaic law as the basis of government. The label is applied primarily toward groups of Protestants in the United States." [1]

It is more closely defined this way:

"Dominionism, or Christian Dominionism is a term coined by social scientists and popularized by journalists to refer to a subset of American Christianity that is conservative, politically active, and believes that Christians should, and eventually will, take control of the government. The term is sometimes used as a "catch-all" by bloggers to describe any politically active Christian, but not every conservative, politically minded Christian is a Dominionist. Christian Dominionists believe that God desires Christians to rise to power through civil systems so that His Word might then govern the nation. The belief that "America is a Christian nation" is sometimes called "soft dominionism"; the idea that God wants only Christians to hold government office and run the country according to biblical law is called "hard dominionism." [2]

"Hard Dominioism" as it is called in the above definition, is what C. Peter Wagner (deceased) of the New Apostolic Reformation (a term he coined) have been advocating, following the teachings of the New Order of the Latter Rain and Reformed Theology "Reconstructionism".

Supernatural Junkies
by Brian Timsah, 3/28/19

This post covers the real concern that so called Christianity has been overrun by what I will call, Supernatural Junkies. Similarly, like junkies on drugs, alcohol, or snack cakes, yet Supernatural Junkies (SJ) are addicted to anything that promises a spiritual experience or high. Many of these practices can only have the full effect by watching it for yourself. Please, make sure to watch each video so you know how to discern the truth from the lie. Otherwise, you won't fully comprehend these manifestations and false teachings.

Defecting from Bethel
at ChurchWatchCentral, 3/30/19

On October 10, 2018 Lindsay Davis, now former student of BSSM (Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry), made an incredible admission on her Facebook wall. In her post Lindsay wrote: "I have wanted to do this for awhile, but tonight it's weighing heavily on my heart - I need to make a public apology to any of those who I led astray 5 months ago when I posted this. In this class, I was taught that because I have the "mind of Christ" I can "think what God is thinking." I was taught that I have "God thoughts." I wasn't taught about "Gods thoughts" in the Bible, I was taught that the thoughts of my mind could surely be "God thoughts." I was progressively falling into a pit of deception. One doctrine after another. I was wandering away from the flock slowly but surely. Although now that I'm on the other side, I praise God for His sovereignty to keep His sheep.

Top Ten False Teachers You'll Find in Evangelical Churches
by Jeff Maples, 3/31/19

ACT Note: This is from a website of an organization we do not endorse.  But the information is accurate on those they name.

False teachers are everywhere - they're a dime a dozen. The Bible tells us that in the last days, many false prophets will arise and mislead many (Matthew 24:11Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)), and we see this taking place right before our eyes. In fact, you can hardly swing a dead cat without hitting a false teacher. Just turn on TBN, you'll see endless amounts of them. But another, more nefarious kind of false teacher is the one that lurks in otherwise common Evangelical churches. These are the ones that are more difficult to notice. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

False Revival Kick-Started by Francis Chan, Rodney Howard Browne, Benny Hinn, Bill Johnson, and Todd White
by Lighthouse Trails, 4/1/19

How do you start a true revival with key controversial NAR leaders-ask Francis Chan; he was there. Former pastor Francis Chan, who recently spoke at The Send conference in Florida with numerous NAR leaders such as Benny Hinn, Bill Johnson, Todd White, and Rodney Howard Browne, said in his own defense for sharing such a platform: There are millions of souls that sit under weak or unorthodox teachings. . . . there are millions who will never hear strong biblical teaching unless teachers are willing to go. (source) We find Chan's rationale in these statements erroneous, troubling, and even dangerous. Chan isn't the first person to say that his message is so important that he will share a platform with anyone in order to get his message out to the masses. To that frame of mind, we disagree completely. It's one thing to preach the Gospel to lost souls; but to share a platform with those who are bringing dangerous false teachings into the church is to give credibility to those with the false teachings. From what we have witnessed, many Christian leaders are willing to compromise truth and integrity by giving credence to false teachers so their own messages can be broadcast more fully.
