The Forgotten Facts about Michael Brown of Brownsville

Dr. Brown has been making the rounds of evangelical church gatherings and conferences presenting himself as an authority on Judaism and the truth of Scripture. His latest conference, where he is listed first as a plenary speaker, is the NCCA (National Conference on Christian Apologetics) put on by Southern Evangelical Seminary (SBC) and held at Calvary Church in Charlotte. Looks good except for one glaring problem. Michael Brown. This guy has been inserting himself in all kinds of apologetics and Jewish studies conferences. He carries with him an unrepenant participation in the Brownsville "Outpouring" that split hundreds of churches worldwide with the false teachings of the Latter Rain. He lied to Holly Pivec of Spirit of Error by saying there was no such thing as the New Apostolic Reformation. He is a clear wolf in sheep's clothing. There are some good knowledgable people particiapting in this conference but I would not spend a dime to hear his diaprax. Please warn others about this. This from a man who is actually an adherent of Latter Rain teachings, associate and participant with many New Apostolic members (for an older membership list go here and who has never repented of the false teachings of Brownsville in which he participated as a leader and that split many churches around the world along doctrinal lines. I have a number of articles about him on my site. I started collecting articles exposing the Brownsville "Revival" back in 1996 because of the lies being told by its leadership. I wanted to leave a historical record of what went on, of the false teachings and false prophecies, so that they could not dupe people with false information they are putting out there. Such is the case with Michael Brown, one of the leaders in that movement. Following is evidence of his guilt by participation in the Third Wave. My hope is that Bible-believing, Christ-centered Christian organizations will quit associating with him.

Dr. Ravi Zacharias has done a great deal of good work for the Christian faith. he is eloquent, intelligent, and well-informed. However, it appears his understanding of Roman Catholicism as is compared to biblical theology is very weak. The headline above is from an article Lighthouse Trails wrote in 2015. We are posting this article again because this month four highly popular evangelical leaders did something that more than surprised many people. And we believe what they did is a perfect example of what this article is warning. On October 18, 2019, Religious News Service reported: This week SBC adherents watched in (near) terror as prominent Southern Baptist pastors, including Franklin Graham, Jack Graham (no relation to Franklin or Billy), Robert Jeffress and Greg Laurie [not SBC], tweeted their approval of a new book by Paula White, President Trump's spiritual advisor. In another time, these long-respected gospel preachers and conservative leaders would never have risked reputation and religious conviction to promote her. (ACT Note: Paula is a long time Word of Faith preacher, a female head pastor, married three times, currently to the piano player of the group Journey, with whom she affirmed in front of their church that married couples need to watch porn. She is a spiritual advisor to Trump, yet she is a well known heretic. How is it possible people like Franklin Graham and others in the SBC are not aware of her false teachings and false prophesies over the course of many years?)

This was a common saying of Jesus. Ears to hear is Jesus stating for one to listen carefully to the truth so that they can change their mind and repent to fix the error of their ways. Matt 11:15 He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Matt 13:8-9 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" Luke 8:8 "But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold." When He had said these things He cried, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" Those who have understanding of what they heard are fruitful, those who do not understand do not have the seed (the word) take root and the devil rips the seed off in various stages.
