Satanic Crosses ... A Stamp Of Approval?
by Sandy Simpson, 4/17/00

I am not a conspiracy nut, though to say there is no such thing as a conspiracy is just as nutty as thinking that everything is a conspiracy.  A conspiracy is when two or more people get together to secretly coerce other people to do their will.  We are all victims of conspiracies every time we watch TV and then run out in a buying frenzy to buy the latest thing we have seen in a commercial.

The items we will be discussing here, though, are highly unlikely to be the product of any normal human conspiracy.  But we know from the Word that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers (Eph. 6:12).  It is very curious to see satanic symbols popping up in some very prominent places lately.  Some of the following pictures seem to fall into the category of "coincidence" from a human standpoint.  But given the fact that the following parties, among many others, are joining forces in a big event called "Celebrate Jesus 2000" gives rise to the question of whether or not this is the enemy tipping his hand.  Or perhaps this is a warning to believers.

Exhibit #1

The pope recently took a trip to Israel.  He was captured in the photos below in March, 2000 in Kerazim, Israel praying in front of and sitting on a throne with a satanic upside-down cross on it.

I must also assume that many of you have also noticed the satanic "bent cross" the papals have carried since Vatican II.  This type of cross was used by satanists in the 6th century.  "This was called a "bent" or "broken cross", on which was displayed a repulsive and distorted figure of Christ, which the black magicians and sorcerers of the Middle Ages had made use of to represent the Biblical term 'Mark of the Beast'. Yet, not only Paul VI, but his successors, the two John-Pauls, carried that object and held it up to be revered by crowds, who had not the slightest idea that it stood for anti-Christ." You can read more about the "bent cross" at the following two locations:

Exhibit #2

This advertisement also came out recently for a ministers conference scheduled at Brownsville A/G in April 25-28, 2000.

Nice graphics but notice what pops out of the advertisement.  A satanic "upside-down cross"!  Not only that but the sword with the upside-down cross is piercing the Bible.

The upside-down cross in satanic circles symbolizes mockery and rejection of Jesus Christ.  Necklaces with upside-down crosses are worn by satanists.  They are also prominently worn by rock singers and displayed on their album covers.  The upside-down cross is used in satanic altars.  It also symbolizes the inversion of Christian values.  This information comes from the following page:

Are all these photos mere coincidence?  Do the people involved, like the pope and the leaders of Brownsville, consciously know that they are using occult symbols?  I guess only they know the truth about that.

One thing to keep in mind ... when false prophets like John Kilpatrick and Michael Brown, false teachers and New Age sorcerers like Steve Hill, false Christs like the pope, and musicians who are leavening churches everywhere with false teaching in the lyrics of their songs like Lindell Cooley get together... it is only a matter of course to expect that the enemy has his stamp of approval on what they are doing -- whether they realize it or not!
