Aloha and greetings from the islands! This is a special edition of the DITC e-Newsletter that is being sent out beyond our regular mailing list. This is simply being sent out for your information because of the important issues involved.
FEATURE ARTICLES
The feature articles in this DITC e-Newsletter are a series of articles by Mike Oppenhiemer of Let Us Reason Ministries on Rick Warren and his "purpose driven" agenda. This is very important and timely material for all churches, especially because so many are using Warren's "Purpose Driven" books or plan on doing so soon. Rick Warren's connections to the Third Wave, New Apostolic Reformation and the "Positive Thinking" church growth methods of Robert Schuller should make any biblical church or Christian leader leery of using his materials. When you finish reading the links I am about to give you, it will be made apparent that Rick Warren is a man who has many unbiblical ideas, and his whole "purpose driven" bent is flawed in its basic premise.
