This newsletter is an alert to all those in Calvary Chapels. Leonard Sweet has been invited to speak at a Calvary Chapel. To understand that Sweet has no place being invited to a Biblical church, read this new article by Sandy Simpson. It is my prayer that a number of CC pastors will contact Skip Heitzig and others putting on this conference and advise them against this. Many Christian organizations have bought into the diaprax of Emergent Church leaders like Sweet, but he is one of the most dangerous. Once his leaven gets into a church or college it is almost impossible to get out. Read our article section on Sweet on the ACT web site.

LIGHTHOUSE TRAILS REPORT: This coming June, Calvary Chapel Albuquerque
(a veteran Calvary Chapel church pastored by Skip Heitzig) will host the
National Worship Leader Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico and will
feature New Age sympathizer and emerging church leader, Leonard Sweet.
The NWLC event will take place in three different U.S. locations with
Sweet
participating in two of them.

Apostle Chuck Pierce is known to be the heir apparent to C. Peter
Wagner the presiding Apostle of the New Apostolic Reformation and the convening
Apostle of the International Coalition of Apoales. The NAR and ICA is the
brain child of Wagner. Using his very considerable organizational skill.
Wagner has managed to cobble together and coalesce nearly all the independent
Charismatic movement into a global structure. This movement which tends
to avoid publicity attempts for now to fly under the radar. Tho NAR is
interconnected around tho globe. Tho movemere has revived the theology
of tho New Order of tho Latter Rain from the 40' and 50's. They assiduously
avoid tho title LR because of some the most controversial aspects of this
fringe group that was denounced by the AOG in the 50's. The LR, however,
survived and lived on and found new acceptance in the free-wheeling days
of the Charismatic Renewal. Wagner's gemus has been to weld together these
disparate m~ entities into a world wide authority structure. This structure
has internationally swallowed up thousands of inttependem churches and
coon the entire AOG denomination in Australia. All of these desigated apesties
represent huge ministries of their own but they have come into and under
the NAR. The glue that holds them together is the teaching that restored
foundational Apostles and Prophets now direct and receive a continual stream
of direct revelation from God. Some designated apostles do not openly claim
the title of apostle and still for the time being are embedded in their
pareat denominatiom. But they participate in the various levels of the
structure of the NAR and to various degrees preach and promote Latter Ram
ideas. Before turinrig our attention to Chuck Pierce, it will be helpful
