Seth Dahl, Bethel Church, Redding, CA: Dahl tells the Bethel Redding congregation of
his experience with an enormous angel. Dahl asked the angel his name and then Googled in the angel’s answer. The angel’s name was the
same as that of a finance company. Dahl then realized the angel was “here for our finances at Bethel…” Dahl
states, “You just need to hear a
testimony so you can know what’s available to you ’cause I’m not trying to
preach a sermon, I’m trying to invite you to a new way of life.” (Bethel Redding children’s pastor Seth Dahl,
http://mywordlikefire.com/2015/10/21/bethel-redding-childrens-pastor-and-the-giant-finance-angel/)
Deluded!
There
are only three (possibly four) angels named in the Bible and neither of them
bear the name of the “finance company” for Bethel Church. Gabriel (Daniel
8:15–27; 9:20–27), Michael (see Daniel 10:21
and 12:1), Lucifer (not his actual name) or Satan, a fallen angel (Isaiah
14:12–18; Luke 10:18) and Apollyon/Abaddon (Revelation 9:11).
Angels named in the Bible have important roles in
Israel and/or the Church and would not be named after a finance company for a
church in Redding, CA.
Seth Dahl, Bethel Church, Redding, CA: This
youth leader states that in a vision Jesus picked him up, began to
weep, and asked his forgiveness. (Bethel Redding children’s pastor Seth Dahl,
http://mywordlikefire.com/2015/10/06/bethel-redding-youth-leader-says-jesus-asked-him-for-forgiveness/)

Jesus
does not ask forgiveness because He is and always has been without sin (2
Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2:22). He does
forgive our sins if we confess them (1 John 1:9) and are “in Christ” or when we
first believe.
Charles
Capps: He [God] framed the
world with His words. You can't build without substance. He took words –
faith-Filled words were God's substance. Here, essentially, is what God did.
God filled His words with faith. He used His words as containers to hold His
faith and contain that spiritual force and transport
it out there into the vast darkness by saying 'Light be!' That's the way God
transported His faith causing creation and transformation. (Charles Capps, Dynamics of Faith &
Confession [Tulsa, OK: Harrison House, 1987], 28-29, emphasis in original.)
Deluded!
God did not create the
world by having faith or by filling “His words with faith” as if faith is a
substance. God did not use any “force of faith” to create the
world. He did so by His Word (2 Pet 3:5), His power (Isa 20:46), and by His
will (Rev 4:11).

Deluded!
Heaven is actually the “third heaven” (2 Corinthians 12:2) not a
planet. Planets inhabit the second
heaven. There is the earth, heaven and
third heaven. The Third heaven or
Paradise (2 Corinthians 12:4) is outside of the universe of space and time.

that is what you are going to have. If you keep talking sickness and disease,
that is what you are going to have, because you are going to create the reality

Realm, 29).
Deluded!
There is no such “divine law” stating we can kill ourselves or
stop sickness and disease by what we say.
This is all part of the “force of faith” “name it and claim it”
“confession doctrine” of the New Thought, Word of Faith heresies.
John Kilpatrick
: "You need to understand
friends, your words are like containers. When they come up out of the innermost
part of your belly, out of the heart, the mouth speaketh.
As these things come out of your heart, they are spirits, by the time they come
out of your mouth, that spirit is encapsulated in some little package and when
you begin to speak this stuff out whether it is good or evil, it comes out in
the way of little containers in your home and it goes out in your home and it
begins to burst. As they burst life is either released or death is released.
Blessings are released or cursings are
released." (Glory on Your House, John Kilpatrick)
Deluded!
Again, this is Word of Faith nonsense. Our words are containers that are
spirits? Our words are our words and
they cannot “release death”. God’s words
are above all human words (Psalm 19:4, 138:2).
Only Jesus hold the keys to death and Hades (Revelation 1:18).

that Jesus, when you partake of this, this represents that his blood has washed
you clean of all sin. And therefore you are gods; you have been purchased by

Deluded!
The “you are gods” doctrine of Word of
Faith is the original lie of Satan in the Garden. Genesis 3:5 “For God knows that when you eat
from it your eyes will be opened, and you
will be like God, knowing good and evil.” There are no other gods but one God. Explicit statements: Ex. 8:10; 9:14; 15:11; 2
Sam. 7:22; 1 Kgs. 8:23; 1 Chr. 17:20; Psa. 86:8; Isa.
40:18, 25: 44:7; 46:5, 9; Jer. 10:6-7; Micah 7:18. Being like God is a Satanic
lie: Gen. 3:5; Isa. 14:14; John 8:44. Fallen man become "like God"
only in that he took upon himself to know good and evil, not that he acquired
godhood: Gen. 3:22. There is only one true God:
2 Chr. 15:3; Jer. 10:10; John 17:3; 1 Thess. 1:9; 1 John 5:20-21. All
other "gods" are therefore false gods (idols), not gods at all: Deut.
32:21; 1 Sam. 12:21; Psa. 96:5; Isa. 37:19; 41:23-24, 29; Jer. 2:11; 5:7;
16:20; 1 Cor. 8:4; 10:19-20. A born
again Christian is a child of God (John 1:12) and joins the bride of Christ
(Revelation 19:7) but is not Christ Himself, which would make the above
Scriptures a lie.
Benny Hinn : "Now I am
going to read one scripture and then I am going to preach and the Devil is
going to drop dead." (The Christian Channel Europe "Praise The Lord" (TBN) 22/2/98)

The Devil will never drop dead.
He will ultimately be sent to hell along with the demons who followed
him and all unbelievers (Revelation 20:10-15) where he will be tortured
forever.

we are gods. I am a little god! . . . I have His name. I'm one with Him.
I'm in covenant relation. I am a little god! Critics, be gone!" ("Praise the Lord" program on TBN [7 July 1986].)

See the above about being “little gods“. Also, apparently, Crouch thought (he has
passed on and now knows the truth about what he said) that he was speaking for
all Christians in saying we are all little gods. But he was not because he was a heretic.
John Avanzini : "John 19 tells us that Jesus wore
designer clothes. Well, what else you gonna call it?
Designer clothes--that's blasphemy. No, that's what we call them today. I mean,
you didn't get the stuff He wore off the rack. It wasn't a one-size-fits-all
deal. No, this was custom stuff. It was the kind of a garment that kings and
rich merchants wore. Kings and rich merchants wore that garment." "Believer's Voice of Victory" program on TBN [20 January
1991].)
Deluded!
Jesus never wore “designer clothes”. The Bible says he was poor and had nowhere to
lay his head. Here is what GotQuestions.org
has to say about this issue:
As the second person of the Trinity, Jesus is as rich as God is rich. Indeed, our Lord owns
everything and possesses all power, authority, sovereignty, glory, honor, and
majesty (Isaiah 9:6; Micah 5:2; John 1:1,8:58, 10:30, 17:5; Colossians 1:15–18, 2:9–10; Hebrews 1:3). Yet during the time Jesus was here on
earth, He willingly relinquished His eternal riches and most of the privileges
of His deity. Becoming poor indeed, our Lord took on the nature of a lowly and
humble servant (Zechariah 9:9; 2 Corinthians 8:9; Philippians 2:6–8). And by the time our Savior endured the
tortures of the cross for us, His earthly possessions amounted to no more than
the clothes on His back that were divided up by the soldiers who crucified Him. Sadly,
however, there are many prosperity preachers today who would like you to
believe that Jesus was rich while here on earth and that God wants nothing more
than to lavish His children with an abundance of material blessings. After all,
a rich Jesus would certainly make it easier for them to persuade their flock
that God wants them to be rich, too. However, a materially rich Jesus Christ is
utterly incompatible with biblical truth. Even a cursory examination of the
Bible should dispel any notion of our Savior’s being wealthy in an earthly
sense. During His public ministry, Christ and His disciples depended entirely
on the hospitality of others as they ministered from town to town (Matthew 10:9–10). As Jesus told a would-be follower “Foxes
have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to
lay His head” (Luke 9:58). It is
unfortunate, then, that this false teaching about Christ’s wealth and its
concomitant “gospel of greed” has gained a foothold in churches today. As
Solomon aptly taught, however, “There is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9), for we can see that Paul addressed
similar matters in his own churches: “Watch out for those who cause divisions
and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have
learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ,
but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of
naďve people” (Romans 16:17–18). Paul’s
terse commentary in his first letter to Timothy regarding those who think
godliness is a means to financial gain captures the essence of Christ’s
numerous teachings on the dangers that accompany a heart bent on the
accumulation of earthly treasure: “People who want to get rich fall into
temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men
into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of
evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the
faith and pierced themselves with many griefs” (1 Timothy 6:9–10).
Indeed, the New Testament is filled with lessons
where Jesus chides the rich and praises the poor. He taught us to “be on your
guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the
abundance of his possessions” (Luke 12:15). And to not store
up for ourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where
thieves break in and steal. But to store up for ourselves
treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do
not break in and steal (Matthew
6:19–21). Our Lord, who knows the hearts of men, is aware
of the deceitfulness of riches and what a considerable stumbling block wealth
can be. The sentiment of Proverbs 30:9, which declares, “I may have too much and
disown you and say ‘who is the LORD,’” reverberates through the entirety of
God’s Word. Thus, it would be a strange paradox indeed—and one that would
certainly dilute the gospel message—if Jesus Christ were a member of the rich
class of people who, as He declared, would find it so difficult “to enter the
kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:23).

Jesus DID claim He was God on many occasions. He said that He was the “I Am” which is the

John 11:25 Jesus said to her,

See the “little gods” section

Paul E. Billheimer : "The Father turned Him over, not only
to the agony and death of Calvary, but to the satanic torturers of His pure
spirit as part of the just dessert of the sin of all the race. As long as
Christ was 'the essence of sin' he was at Satan's mercy in that place of
torment. . . .While Christ identified with sin, Satan and the hosts of hell
ruled over Him as over any lost sinner. During that seemingly endless age in
the nether abyss of death, Satan did with Him as he would, and all hell was 'in
carnival.'" (Destined for the Throne, special edition for TBN [Fort
Washington, PA: Christian Literature Crusade, 1988(orig. 1975)]. 84.)
Deluded!
Satan is not in hell nor is he the master of it. He never tortured Jesus in hell but Jesus
went to Hades to declare what he had done to the dead and to empty out the
“bosom of Abraham” and bring them to heaven with him, leaving the sinners there
to await judgment. (See http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/Questions&Answers.html#48)
Benny Hinn : "When you say, 'I am a Christian, you are saying,

See the “little gods”

A.A. Allen: Allen dogmatically claimed
that he could raise people from the dead. He actually launched a "raise
the dead" campaign in the mid-sixties. Thankfully it died when his disciples
refused to bury their departed, and their departed refused to come back from
the dead. (Hank Hanegraaff, Counterfeit Revival, 1997
citing Michale Moriarity,
"The New Charismatics" (grand Rapids, MIC: Zondervan, 1992), 2 and David Edwin Harrell, Jr., "All

There are many today falsely claiming they
are raising people from the dead following in the footsteps of those of the
past who made such claims without substantiation such as A.A. Allen and
others. Bethel Church in Redding, CA is
teaching young people they can raise the dead but there have already been
incidents where this had bad consequences (See Faith
healing or foul play? 2008 cliff fall victim sues Bethel students,
by Ryan Sabalow,
The Record Searchlight, Redding, CA). As Christians we believe God can
raise people from the dead but we do not believe that God validates the
ministries of false prophets and false teachers with true dead raisings.

This is
nonsense but something that has been repeated a million times in Third Wave
meetings where they want to spread the false anointing. They tell you to stop praying, leave your
mind at the door, and just open yourself up to the experience they want to give
you. There is a simple answer to this
demand: Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all
occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert
and always keep on praying for all the
Lord’s people. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray
continually.

purpose of God has been through the ages...that He is duplicating Himself in

Deluded!
God
did not “duplicate” Himself in creating humans.
He did not make more gods like Himself because the Bible states there is
only one God (Ex. 8:10; 9:14; 15:11; 2 Sam. 7:22; 1 Kgs.
8:23; 1 Chr. 17:20; Psa. 86:8; Isa. 40:18, 25: 44:7; 46:5, 9; Jer. 10:6-7;
Micah 7:18.) We are made in the image of
God, but that is referring to the facts that (1) man has a spirit as God has
His Spirit (animals only have body and soul( (2) man is tripartite (body, soul
and spirit) as God is Triune and (3) man has free will as God does, which
should be submitted to His.
William Branham: Branham said the
doctrine of the Trinity is "a doctrine of demons" (The Toronto
Blessing, Stephen Sizer, 1990)
Deluded!
Though
Oneness groups use the argument that the word “trinity” cannot be found in the Bible,
they miss the fact that the nature of God is taught all the way from Genesis
and revealed fully in the New Testament.
The Bible states that in the beginning Elohim
created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). The plural word “Elohim”
is a word that comes from the word “El” which is singular. So right from the beginning we have a clue as
to the nature of God. A core doctrine of
the Church is that “God is one "What" and three
"Whos" with each "Who" possessing
all the attributes of Deity and personality.” You can read a detailed study on the Trinity
here: http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/5doctrines.html Anyone or group who denies any one of
the core doctrines of the Faith are in heresy.
William Branham: Branham falsely
prophesied: "that by 1977 all denominations would be consumed by the
World Council of Churches under the control of the Roman Catholics, that the
rapture would take place, and that the world would be destroyed."
(Burgess and McGee, Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements, 96)
Deluded!
None of those things came true in
1977. Eventually they will all come true
but none of them have come true in 2015.
This made Branham a false prophet. Deuteronomy 18:22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name
of the Lord does not take place
or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken.
That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.
Paul Cain: Cain promises credulous
Christians that in the fullness of endtime restorationism "all the sick are gonna be healed, the dead are gonna
be raised and nations are gonna turn to God in a
day." (Bob Jones and Paul Cain, "Selections from the Kansas City
Prophets," audiotape)
Deluded!
This is another false prophecy by a
false prophet of the Latter Rain, who was an associate of William Branham. None of those things have come true and we
know from the Bible that the end times will not be marked by spiritual
awakening or revival but rather a falling away from the Faith. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one in any
way deceive you, for it will not
come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is
revealed, the son of destruction
Paul Cain: "No prophet or
apostle who ever lived equaled the power of these individuals in this great
army of the Lord in these last days. No one ever had it, not even Elijah or
Peter or Paul, or anyone else enjoyed the power that is going to rest on this
great army." (Bob Jones and Paul Cain.
"Selections from the Kansas City Prophets," audiotape (tape: 155C)
Deluded!
The “army” he is referring to is what
has been called “Joel’s Army” which was actually an army of locusts. Joel 2:25 “Then I will make up to you for the years That the
swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the
stripping locust and the gnawing locust, My great army which I
sent among you.” This army was
not a blessing from the Lord but a judgment. You would think these people would
actually read their Bibles before making a whole movement. The Bible says nothing about individuals in
the last days that have greater power than the prophets and Apostles, except
for the two witnesses of Revelation (Revelation 11).

God does not depend on us. Romans 9:16 So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the
man who runs, but on God who has mercy. We depend on Him. Psalm 62:7 My salvation and

where He is present, which would include both the born again believer (1 Cor.
6:19) and the congregation of saints (1 Cor. 5:4, Matt. 18:20).
Randy Clark: Clark claims that the
"greatest revival of all times" is now a reality. He tells credulous

it." (Randy Clark, "Catch The Fire: Questions and Answers",

The
teaching of Word of Faith heretics claims that Christians are guaranteed
healing in the Atonement (Is. 53:5). But
the healing spoken of in Isaiah is one of salvation, spiritual healing. These kinds of teachings have turned churches

every Word of Faith practitioner will go a doctor when they are sick instead of
a faith healer or healing themselves if they claim they are a faith healer.

This is a lie of Satan from Essex Kenyon and Kenneth Hagin. Here is why: Colossians
1:22 But now he has reconciled you by
Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his
sight, without blemish and free from accusation. Jesus could not die spiritually because
He was, and will always be God. But He had to become human in order to shed
His perfect blood for our sins because without the shedding of blood there is
not forgiveness for sin (Heb. 9:22).
Those who teach this are in denial that Jesus Christ was God come in the
flesh (because God cannot die spiritually) which proves they are antichrist (1
John 2:22).
Paul Crouch: "God, we proclaim
death to anything or anyone that will lift a hand against this network and this

When
you claim you are the exclusive holder of Christian truth you make yourself a
cult. That is exactly what cults
do. More importantly, Christians are not

enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who
mistreat you.

blocks in every ministry that the Holy Spirit is really responsible for."
(Jack Deere, TACF, 11/20/94, audiotape)

There is no place in the Bible where it says God is
offending our minds to reveal our hearts.
That sounds like a New Age idea.
God wants us to worship Him in spirit and in truth with our minds fully
engaged (Matt. 22:37). The only way we
can be offended is with the offense of the cross, and if we are we need to
repent and believe (Gal. 5:11). Prophets
will be 100% correct because God is 100% correct (Duet. 18:20). The Word of God is 100% correct (2 Tim.
3:16). People can be wrong, but the
truths of the Bible are everlasting (Ps. 119:89)
Kenneth Hagin:
"Why did He need to be begotten or born? Because He
became like we were - separated from God. Because He
tasted spiritual death for every man. And His spirit and inner men went
to hell in my place. Can't you see that? Physical death wouldn't remove your
sins. He's tasted death for every man. He's talking about tasting spiritual
death. Jesus is the first person that was ever born again. Why did His spirit
need to be born again? Because it was estranged from
God." (Kenneth Hagin, "How Jesus obtained His Name" (Kenneth Hagin Ministries, audio tape #44-H01)

is why: Colossians 1:22 But now he
has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to
present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation.
John 2:22).

Has
this ever worked for these false teachers?
No. They have filled their wallets with money raised with false
promises, false teaching on the backs of the poor and desperate. They could not create enough money with their
words to fill an envelope, only with their deceit.
Steve Hill: Hill said "If you
must analyze, then look at me, look at the musicians and singers, look at the
congregation, look at the person to the left of you and to the right of you,
and just analyze, analyze, analyze get it out of your system. Now let yourselves
go: don't even think about what you are doing, forget about those around you
and what they are doing. Release your mind release your spirit and let the
mighty river of the "Holy Ghost" take you
wherever He wants you to go." (Revival ... or Satanic Counterfeit?,

This
is another heretic getting people to stop discernment and testing and let go of
their minds. God wants us to worship Him in spirit and in truth with our minds fully
engaged (Matt. 22:37). This trick was used
by the Toronto “Blessing”, Brownsville “Outpouring” and by heretics with the
false anointing who have come after such as Bethel Church and Lakeland
“Revival”.
Benny Hinn:
"Just know this, that Jesus
could not have remained sinless without the Holy Ghost...." (Benny Hinn and Paul Crouch
on TBN)
Deluded!
This
is a basic denial of who Jesus Christ is.
If He was only human with the indwelling Holy Spirit, then He could have
sinned (1 John 1:10). But these heretics
do not believe in the Hypostatic Union, that the Son of God added human nature
to His Divine nature (John 1:1-5, 4:2).
He was made sin for us, but He never sinned (2 Cor. 5:21).
Rodney Howard-Browne: Browne said
"'Either You come down here and touch me, or I
will come up there and touch You" (The prayer Howard-browne prayed before he got the "anointing")
(Holy Laughter, Albert James Dager, 1996)
Deluded!
Perhaps this was a joke on the part of the “Holy Ghost Bartender”
but even if it was it is very disrespectful of God. God certainly does not need a touch from
Rodney and Howard-Browne could not get up to heaven even if he tried. That is because he is an utter heretic,
responsible along with Benny Hinn for the Third Wave
through the Toronto “Blessing”.
Rodney Howard-Browne: "'One
night I was preaching on hell,' Howard-Browne says, 'and [laughter] just hit
the whole place. The more I told people what hell was like,
the more they laughed'" (Rodney
Howard-Browne, Charisma, August 1994, pg. 24).
Deluded!
Why
would you joke about this unless you are bragging about it. The Toronto “Blessing” on down the pike to
other counterfeit revivals, through the “slain in the spirit” occult practice,
caused people who submitted to it to become overwhelmed and to laugh and
exhibit other manifestations that were out of control. Here is a partial list of those that have
been observed in this movement: laughing,
crying, shaking, running around the building, fast dancing, running, etc,
followed by collapse; barking-howling, trances, drunkenness, falling out, oinking, being "hot", fanning self or blowing,
walking like chickens, high pitched whine reminiscent of a lively horse, mooing
and crowing, swimming in the spirit-on the back and also breast stroke style,
women going through imaginary birth pangs, loss of consciousness, trying to
soar like eagles, hissing and moving like a snake, inability to speak and
involuntary body spasms, kung fu-like stances, vomiting in the spirit and holy
head-banging, and stripping.
Rick Joyner: Joyner on the subject of
the latter-day apostles and prophets who will be greater than the apostles and
prophets of Biblical times: "In the near future we will not be looking
back at the early church with envy because of the great exploits of those days,
but all will be saying that He certainly did save Hi best wine for last. The
most glorious times in all of history have not come upon us. You, who have
dreamed of one day being able to talk with Peter, John and Paul, are going to
be surprised to find that they have all been waiting to talk to you."
(Rick Joyner, The Harvest (Pineville, NC, MorningStar, 1990, 9)
Deluded!
Since Peter, John and Paul were
foundational apostles and there are none alive today (see
http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/allfalseapostles.html) then they are not
waiting to talk to those who consider themselves to be equal to or greater than
the original apostles (also see
http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/gracegifts.html). 2 Corinthians 11:12 And I will keep on doing what I am
doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to
be considered equal with us in the things they boast about.
Rick Joyner: "Bob [Jones] was
told that the general level of prophetic revelation in the church was about 65%
accurate at this time. Some are only about 10% accurate, a very few of the most
mature prophets are approaching 85% to 95% accuracy. Prophecy is increasing in
purity, but there is still a long way to go for those who walk in this
ministry. This is actually grace for the church now, because 100% accuracy in
this ministry will bring a level of accountability to the church which she is
too immature to bear at this time; it would result in too many 'Ananias and Sapphiras.' That so many the (sic) prophetic ministries are
still missing so much is also meant to work humility and wisdom in them so that
they will be able to handle the authority and power coming in the near
future." If you can't handle truth in the first place, what makes you
think you can handle authority, let alone power? (The Prophetic Ministry,
The Morning Star Prophetic Newsletter, Rick Joyner, n.d.,

Deuteronomy 18:22 If what a prophet
proclaims in the name of the Lord does
not take place or come true, that is a message
the Lord has not
spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be
alarmed. If a
prophet is only 65% accurate and is telling people he heard from the Lord,
doesn’t he make God out to be a liar 65% of the time?
John Kilpatrick: (Kilpatrick Message 4/6/97) "If you (Hank Hannegraaf) want to keep any kind of a semblance of a
ministry, you better back off from this revival and what God is doing. You
better back off, because I'm going to prophesy to you that if you don't, and
you continue to put your tongue in your mouth on this move of God, within 90
days the Holy Ghost will bring you down. I said, within 90 days the Holy Ghost
will bring you down."

This
was a clear false prophecy but when Kilpatrick was confronted with it he lied
and said he never prophesied. And this
was supposedly the leader of a great revival of the Lord!
Kathryn Kuhlman: "You've had
cancer in the hip and now your pain is gone. Is that right?" (Man with
cancer:) "Yes," (Kathryn Kuhlman:)
"Bend over so everyone can see." He bent over. "Walk

wonderful?" she cried. A sound of rejoicing went round the hall.
Afterward, the doctor inquired of this man. Nothing had changed in his
condition. But in Christian circles, the news was spread everywhere that a man
in a wheelchair had been healed. (Kurt Koch, Occult ABC, 1978, p. 119)

False
healing claims are rife within the counterfeit revival movement and they
learned it from false teachers like Kathryn Kuhlman, William Branham, Aimee Semple Macpherson, Oral Roberts and a whole host of
others. Everytime
these healing claims are investigated the fall short of Divine
Biblical healing. (See http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/divinehealing.html)
(Benny) Hinn: Hinn revealed that he periodically visits (Kathryn)
Kuhlman's grave (click here
for a photo of her grave site) and that he is one of the few with a key to gain
access to it. He also visits Aimee (McPherson's) grave (click here for photos of her
grave site), where he says: "I felt a terrific anointing ... I was
shaking all over ... trembling under the power of God ... `Dear God,' I said,
`I feel the anointing.' ... I believe the anointing has lingered over Aimee's
body." (Benny Hinn, April 7, 1991 sermon)

Those who have been taken in by false
teachers like Kuhlman, like Hinn, have taken it even
further and claim to be talking to these dead people and getting their
“anointing” off their graves. That is
necromancy. Deuteronomy 18:9-12 When you enter the land
the Lord your God is
giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire,
who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,
or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or
who consults the dead. …
Earl Paulk:
"THE FIFTH FUNCTION OF THE CHURCH IS TO CONQUER THE LAST ENEMY, WHICH IS
DEATH, AND TO BRING REDEMPTION TO THE BODY OF CHRIST. When the Apostle Paul
says that redemption has not yet taken place, he speaks, I believe, of the redemption
of the individual body; yet in my spirit I perceive that he speaks also of the
redemption of the Body of Christ. [Boldface Paulk's throughout.] "Jesus Christ Himself
overcame death individually, and WHEN THE CHURCH BECOMES SO CONFORMED TO HIS
IMAGE THAT THOSE WHO DIE DO NOT PASS THROUGH THE GRAVE, BUT BECOME INSTEAD
GLORIOUSLY CHANGED IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE, IT WILL BE THAT CHURCH WHICH
WILL BRING THE KINGDOM OF GOD TO PASS ON THE EARTH. [Paulk
then quotes Romans 8:18,22-23, and Ephesians 1:13-14.]
"We have received the earnest of the EXPECTATION through the baptism of
the Holy Spirit, but we must move on to the POSSESSION, which is overcoming the
last enemy, death. Sometimes the interpretation has been made that Jesus Christ
conquered death, but if that were so, why would Paul's epistle to the
Corinthians, written at least ninety years later, say that the last enemy that
SHALL be destroyed is death (I Corinthians 15:26)? JESUS CHRIST CONQUERED DEATH
INDIVIDUALLY, BUT IT IS LEFT TO THE CHURCH TO CONQUER DEATH ON A CORPORATE
BASIS.. "Is it possible that there will be a
people who so possess the authority of Almighty God, as Elijah did, that they,
as a group, will say to death, hell, and the spirit of Satan, 'We will NOT die.
We will stay here and be changed, and we will call Jesus Christ to return to
this earth as King of Kings and Lords of Lords'? Yes, that is what I believe
the church must do! But it will not be easy, because GOD IS LOOKING FOR THE
MANIFESTATION OF A MATURE CHURCH WHO CAN SPEAK WITH THE AUTHORITY JESUS HAD
WHEN HE STILLED THE WINDS AND CALLED LAZARUS FORTH FROM THE GRAVE. "An exciting prospect? Oh, yes! We are God's people,
called to do the will of God in the world today and to see the King of Glory
return to establish His Kingdom on earth! Jesus Christ had the authority to say
'No' to death on earth, and He is waiting for us to come to that same authority
He had so we can say, 'The last enemy - death - has been conquered!' [Paulk then quotes I Corinthians
15:20-26.] "Jesus Christ, as the firstfruit of
the Kingdom, began the work of conquering death on an individual basis, but we,
as His church will be the ones to complete the task. Jesus said (Matthew
28:18), 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth,' and the church
today has that same power. Death will not be conquered by Jesus returning to
the earth. It will be conquered when the church stands up boldly and says, 'We
have dominion over the earth!' How else will God be able to show Satan a people
for whom death holds no fear, over whom death no longer has any power? When God
can do that, Satan's hold on us will be broken forever!" (Earl Paulk, "The
Proper Function of the Church" (Atlanta: K Dimension Publishers, undated),
p.13.)

We
will not have our eternal bodies till the Rapture/Resurrection (Acts

not to take over the world (see

Oral Roberts: On January 4, 1987,
Roberts launched his most notable campaign to date. Roberts told his followers
that if he did not raise a total of 8 million dollars by March, God was going
to take his life ... Comparing himelf to the apostle
Paul, Roberts begged not to let Satan defeat him. "God" he
says, "clearly told me he needs me here on earth. And here's why --
because of all the ministries, this ministry is the only one God has on this
earth that owns a medical school." ... Some time
later, Oral's son, Richard, took pen in hand to warn of his father's impending
doom. Without "the additional $4,500.000." explains Richard, "God
will not extend Dad's life" He then pleads, "Partner, we
cannot let this man of God die. There is no reason for him to die." ... After sternnly warning, "IF YOU NEGLECT TO PAY ATTENTION
... then Satan will take advantage and hit you with bad things and you will
wish that 1985 had never come, " Roberts closed his letter with a hard
sell. Sending a seed-faith gift will not only enable you to "STOP SATAN
IN HIS HATE TO BRING YOU DOWN," it will also "help you get
your hundredfold return." (Roberts raised the money and did not die.)

We are not to raise funds by threats

Pat Robertson: Conforming to the world
rather than the Word, evangelical leaders such as Pat Robertson and Francis
Frangipane have called visions of Mary and animated statues "manifestations

False claims of healing are a way for people
without a conscience to become rich and famous and get power over people. It is a way for the enemy to begin to change the
belief systems of Christian to the point where they are
believing in vain (1 Cor. 15:2).
Paul Cain: "...Every time God
ever planned to do anything, the devil would get wind of it and he'd go out
there are try to head it off...When he knew Moses was coming, what did he do to
stop him...He killed all the babies. What did he do when he figured that Jesus
was going to be born at a certain time? He released a decree through the wicked
ruler to kill all the babies. Don't you see? And what's he doing now?...Abortions on every hand. So, you must know
something's coming up greater than Moses, greater than...Even in Jesus' day,
because the devil is trying to kill off the New Breed. He's trying to kill
off the bride of Christ and trying to kill the whole thing off, but the Lord
has well planted this seed and the New Bride and the New Breed...He's about
to open the womb and He's about to give birth to this New Thing...When the Word
was made flesh and dwelt among us we beheld the glories of the only begotten of
the Father and when you begin to become that Word I want you to know. The world
will behold the glory of the Father and that's what we're waiting to see...I
want you to know that we're going to have some channeling one of these days,
but it's going to be channeled right out of the throne room of Heaven."

There is no such thing as a “new bride” or “new
breed”. This has always been the way of
the Gnostics to claim new revelation that is beyond what is written (1 Cor.

Todd
Bentley: Visions of all makes and models, shapes and sizes are a common
occurrence within the Charismatic and signs and wonders movements. The
question is: Are the visions from God?
To no surprise, Todd Bentley claims to have had multiple visions, and further
claims to have been transported back in time, not by way of Professor Peabody and his Wayback Machine, mind
you, but by "Jesus". Once in Bakersfield, as Todd was in prayer,
the first night in the Pastor's office, he had a visitation from the Lord.
Jesus transported him back in time. He found himself in Bakersfield, back in
the '40's of '50's, and was in a Voice of Healing service, miraculous healings
were taking place. Later, Todd asked historically if there were ever any
healing revivals in Bakersfield. It was then, that Todd found out that in the
1950's, Gordon Lindsay & Oral Roberts all had healing revivals there. Not
only did they individually hold healing revival meetings there, but also
Bakersfield was prophesied over by William Branham, and Paul Cain, that
Bakersfield held a deep well of healing. [Fresh Fire
