We are called as Christians to contend for the faith. We must stand firm in the faith and in sound doctrine and "demolish arguments" as Paul demonstrated for us.
Jude 1:3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to
you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to
for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.
1 Cor. 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.
Titus 1:9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.
2 Cor. 10:4-5 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
The stronghold of the enemy is becoming more powerful in churches that have slid into heresy and apostasy. The Third Wave "New Apostolic Reformation" and "Word-Faith Movement" are only two of these movements and are dealt with in depth by the "Deception In The Church" web site.
Don't forget to continue to check back regularly on the "What's New" page of the DITC site. There is usually one new article per day, as well as many other features that are updated regularly. Make DITC your news and apologetics source on the subject of the Third Wave. And be a Berean!
