When The Ends AND The Means Are Unjustifiable

"... we ought to see clearly that the end DOES justify the means.  What else possible could justify the means?  If the method I am using accomplishes the goal I am aiming at, it is for that reason a good method.  If, on the other hand, my method is not accomplishing the goal, how can I be justified in continuing to use it?"

Way back in 1976 C. Peter Wagner had already expressed a foundation of sand upon which his entire "apostolic" kingdom is built.  To back up his notions, he and his friends such as John Wimber, Paul Cain and many others began to get the cart before the horse.  They tried to create revival where there was none with unbiblical and even heretical ideas.  They imported occult ideas from false religions into the churches, such as "slain in the spirit" and called the results "revival".  The means they used were the counterfeit  revivals of the Word Of Faith Movement, the Vineyard movement, the Toronto "Blessing", the Brownsville "Outpouring" and on down the line to latest Todd Bentley "Lakeland Revival".  The proof that the means have all been unjustifiable is in the unjustifiable ends.  Lakeland has now come to an apparent abrupt end due to false healing and dead raising claims, many false teachings, a false "transferable" anointing, and sexual misconduct.  You can read about these things in our Todd Bentley section. Yet the leadership of the New Apostolic Reformation has not even been slowed by yet another bad end brought about by the self-destruction of the means.  In the latest ElijahList the false prophets are prophesying even greater revivals to come.

We are excited about the great effectual doors God is opening for all of us in this hour. To walk into a new door - we have to close some old doors. The Holy Spirit is creating wind drafts of change to close the doors to the past and break open the doors to our future and destiny. God has given us new strategic keys in Matthew 16:19, "I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven." These keys will open new doors of anointing, blessing and increase in His Kingdom where we have never been before. The old keys only fit the old doors of the past where we have already been. The Lord told me that many people are still trying to build the "New Thing" with old keys and are stuck in traditions of how we have always done things. So according to this false prophetess, the revivals of the Third Wave are to continue and the old keys thrown away.  There is no exposition of the false prophesies made about Todd Bentley and those who continue to say they speak for God when clearly they have not.  What about getting a new key called "the Truth"?  But then you have to have a relationship with the Spirit of truth to get that key.

It is also interesting that apparently the "God" who is speaking to her misinterprets his own Scripture.  The keys to the Kingdom, according to Barbie, are no longer about the preaching of the Gospel and establishing the Church on earth whereby the Apostles were given disciplinary authority in the churches (1 Cor. 5:12-13).  Matt. 16:19 is now, according to Barbie, about "new doors of anointing", new "blessing" and "increase in His Kingdom".  Out with the old, in with the new (new interpretation of Scripture, that is)!  Apparently Todd Bentley falls under the category of the "old keys" even though his stepping down from being a "new key" is barely over.  God is apparenly telling this false prophetess that they need another means to the same old end, which is to get as many people as possible under the spell of the false anointing so that they will swallow the mountainous heap of false teaching being offered by a plethora of false teachers.

Bob Jones, one of Todd Bentley's closest mentors and one of the original Kansas City Prophets along with Paul Cain, had the following "new" vision (in a trance) on 6/08.

While in a trance on the afternoon of July 26, 2008, Bob heard the audible voice of God say ... There is a coming forth of the NEW BREED! They are not old and they are not young. They will come forth in the Spirit of Holiness. ... The Spirit of Holiness coming forth is the divine nature of Christ. ... The new breed shall be of the divine nature and will be a friend with God. ... The Spirit of holiness coming forth will have resurrection power in it and this power will bring the obedience of what Christ called us to. ... Most of the people Bob saw were between the ages of 25 and 40. They will be the first of the new breed which others will immediately begin to follow and they will not fall back. Jones was refering to "new breed" leaders like Todd Bentley, since he was his protege.  Paul Cain also prophesied about the "New Breed" back in the 80's and was probably the earliest major proponant of that idea. He then recently anointed Todd Bentley as that "new breed".
"...Every time God ever planned to do anything, the devil would get wind of it and he'd go out there are try to head it off...When he knew Moses was coming, what did he do to stop him...He killed all the babies. What did he do when he figured that Jesus was going to be born at a certain time? He released a decree through the wicked ruler to kill all the babies. Don't you see? And what's he doing now?...Abortions on every hand. So, you must know something's coming up greater than Moses, greater than...Even in Jesus' day, because the devil is trying to kill off the New Breed. He's trying to kill off the bride of Christ and trying to kill the whole thing off, but the Lord has well planted this seed and the New Bride and the New Breed...He's about to open the womb and He's about to give birth to this New Thing...When the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us we beheld the glories of the only begotten of the Father and when you begin to become that Word I want you to know. The world will behold the glory of the Father and that's what we're waiting to see...I want you to know that we're going to have some channeling one of these days, but it's going to be channeled right out of the throne room of Heaven." (Paul Cain, "You Can Become the Word!", 1989, Vineyard Prophetic Conference)

Paul Cain  prays to the Father in the name of Jesus, “I thank you that you have answered my prayer that you have let me live to see tokens of this revival are be involved in it in some way or a participant if possible AND LORD YOU HAVE NEVER HAS ALLOWED ME TO SAY THAT I HAVE MET THE NEW BREED, ABSOLUTELY- MET THE NEW BREED. (August 15, 2008 from the board of directors of fresh-fire ministry)

Apprently Todd Bentley, prophesied by Bob Jones and Paul Cain as being the "New Breed", was endowed with "resurrection power", according to the trance of Jones.  But it is clear that though Bentley boasted about raising many people from the dead, those accounts were not true.  Read this article to see how deceptive people can be when they try to use the means of a lie to justify the end. So then can we believe that there is still coming a "new breed" with these powers if, all along the way, there are strewn the bodies of those who lied in the name of the Lord about raising people from the dead?  Do you think that God will continue to allow people to lie in His name?
2Pe 2:1  But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
I don't think you can find the "divine nature of Christ" in anything going on in the New Apostolic.

For those who have been continually duped by the above unbiblical schemers (Eph. 4:14) please read the ACT web site where there is a wealth of information on these subejcts to get you to the foot of the cross in repentance and to the start of a new walk with the Holy Spirit through the Word of God in Christ.  The ends of the Third Wave are why the means are so unjustifiable.
